I had been serving in the worship team for almost eight years, and somewhere along the way it became routine. I was doing the work of ministry but my heart wasn't in it anymore — I was tired, distracted, and quietly ashamed that I didn't feel close to God even while leading others into His presence.

During one of the Revive Borneo prayer gatherings, someone read Revelation 2:4–5 — 'you have forsaken the love you had at first.' It felt like it was written for me. I spent that whole night in tears, not out of guilt, but relief. God hadn't given up on me; He was inviting me back.

I'm still on the worship team, but it doesn't feel like duty anymore. I found what I'd lost — a first love, made new.
