Revive Borneo exists to awaken hearts back to Christ, renew believers through the power of the Holy Spirit, and mobilize God’s people to take part in His mission. It is more than a program or event; it is a spiritual journey of prayer, discipleship, unity, and mission.
01 · RENEWAL
Return to your first love
Returning to Christ with a deeper relationship, renewed faith, restored intimacy with God, a rekindled first love for Jesus, and a fresh encounter with the holiness, glory, and love of the Father.
Revive Borneo begins with spiritual renewal because true revival must first happen in the hearts of God’s people. Before believers can serve, lead, or go into mission, they must first return to Christ and encounter God for who He truly is — holy, glorious, loving, and worthy of complete surrender.
Many Christians may be active in church or ministry, yet feel spiritually dry, tired, distracted, or distant from God. Some may still be serving God outwardly, but inwardly their love for Christ has grown cold. We believe God is calling His people to return to their first love — to love Jesus again with sincerity, devotion, and joy.
This renewal is also a call to re-encounter the Father’s love. Many believers need to be reminded that they are not merely servants doing work for God, but beloved sons and daughters who are deeply loved by the Father. When people encounter the Father’s love again, fear is replaced by trust, striving is replaced by surrender, and spiritual dryness is replaced by intimacy.
Without returning to our first love, Christian life can become routine, duty-driven, or ministry-centered instead of Christ-centered. But from that place of intimacy, mission flows not from pressure, but from love, worship, surrender, and obedience.

02 · EMPOWERMENT
Filled by the Holy Spirit
Being filled, strengthened, purified, and equipped by the Holy Spirit to live as faithful disciples of Jesus and witnesses of God.
God’s mission cannot be carried out by human strength alone. The Church needs more than good plans, programs, and strategies; we need the power, guidance, and presence of the Holy Spirit.
But the empowerment of the Holy Spirit is not only about receiving power to serve. It is also about being transformed into the likeness of Christ. The Spirit leads believers into holiness, renews their hearts, strengthens their faith, and helps them live lives that reflect the glory of God.
Every believer needs the fresh filling of the Holy Spirit — not only pastors or leaders, but students, parents, workers, church members, young people, and marketplace believers. The Holy Spirit empowers ordinary people to love courageously, pray boldly, overcome fear, walk in holiness, and share the Gospel with confidence.
Without the Holy Spirit, believers easily depend on their own ability, experience, or effort. But when believers are filled and empowered by the Spirit, they are strengthened to live holy lives, restored in their identity as children of God, and equipped to become faithful witnesses of Christ.

03 · MISSION
Sent to the ends of Borneo
Being sent into campuses, churches, communities, workplaces, towns, villages, and nations to make Christ known and carry His glory to others.
True revival is never meant to stop with personal blessing. When God’s people encounter His holiness, glory, and love, they are not only transformed inwardly — they are also sent outwardly.
In Scripture, encounter often leads to mission. Isaiah encountered the holy God and responded, “Here am I. Send me!” The disciples encountered the risen Christ and were sent to make disciples of all nations. The early Church was filled with the Holy Spirit and became witnesses from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth.
Mission is not limited to overseas mission trips or full-time ministry. Mission begins wherever God has placed His people — in families, campuses, churches, workplaces, neighborhoods, villages, towns, cities, and nations. Every believer has a part to play in God’s mission.
Some will pray. Some will care. Some will share. Some will disciple. Some will give. Some will go. Some will open doors. Some will mobilize others. Together, the Body of Christ can make Jesus known across Borneo, Malaysia, and beyond.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”
“You will receive power… and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest… to send out workers into his harvest field.”
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.”
