God Leads Us on Roads We Do Not Know
28 September 2026
“[ESV] And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them. ”
🌱 WHEN WE CANNOT SEE THE WAY
In our journey of life and ministry, there are seasons when we find ourselves walking on roads we have never travelled before. We do not know what tomorrow will bring. We may not understand why God allows certain things to happen or why the journey of restoration seems to take so long.
Yet Isaiah 42:16 gives us a powerful promise:
God Himself will lead us.
God does not ask us to know the entire journey before we take the first step. He simply asks us to trust Him.
💡 GOD TURNS DARKNESS INTO LIGHT
There are seasons when our hearts feel dark, hope begins to fade, and the future seems unclear.
But God says:
“I will turn the darkness into light before them.”
This is the heart of Revive & Restore—God brings life back to what has grown weak, and He restores what has been broken.
What may look like an ending can become a new beginning in the hands of God.
🛤️ GOD MAKES THE ROUGH PLACES SMOOTH
God also promises to make the rough places smooth.
Our journey will not always be easy. There may be challenges, failures, losses, disappointments, and seasons of waiting. But difficulty is not proof that God has abandoned us.
God is still working throughout the journey.
Sometimes He does not change our circumstances immediately, but He changes us so that we can continue walking with Him.
❤️ GOD WILL NOT LEAVE US
Here is the promise that strengthens us the most:
“I will not forsake them.”
We may not know what will happen.
We may not be able to see the whole road.
But we know Who is walking with us.
And when God leads us, we can take each step by faith.
🔥 REVIVE & RESTORE
Let us believe that God is still reviving hearts that have grown cold, strengthening faith that has become weak, restoring families, renewing the Church, and sending His people to be a blessing to the nations.
Do not be afraid of the road you have never travelled before.
If God is leading us, we are never walking alone.
🌿 Revive the Heart. Restore the Life. Renew the Mission.
God is still working.
God is still restoring.
God is still leading.
And God will never leave us.
Prayer
Lord, lead us when we do not know the way. Bring light into the darkness before us. Make the difficult paths smooth and strengthen our faith to keep moving forward. Restore our hearts, revive our passion, and use our lives for Your glory. We believe that You will never leave us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
