Prayers for Bintulu

1. Pray for the Spiritual Atmosphere in Bintulu

Pray for a spiritual transformation over Bintulu. We ask for the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse the Bintulu District from every power of darkness. We declare that the city of Bintulu belongs to the Lord and that His Kingdom will reign over this land.

2. Pray for the Churches in Bintulu

Pray that churches will arise and move beyond merely conducting religious activities, but instead become churches that move together with the Holy Spirit. May every church become a house of prayer, a centre for evangelism, missions and spiritual awakening. Pray for unity, love and partnership among all the local churches.

3. Pray Against the Works of Darkness

Pray against all forms of evil activities in Bintulu, including drug trafficking, illegal gambling operations, gangsterism, prostitution and other forms of criminal activities.

4. Give Thanks for the Return of Bintulu Port to Sarawak

We give thanks for God's intervention in enabling Sarawak to regain control of Bintulu Port after it had been under the Federal Government for many years. Pray that through this transition of ownership and management, the state government will receive greater revenue, which will be channelled towards improving the welfare and well-being of the people of Sarawak.

5. Pray for Wisdom and Integrity in the State Government's Economic Management

Pray that the Sarawak State Government will be granted wisdom and discernment in managing the industrial and economic sectors, particularly in matters involving foreign investors in Bintulu. Pray that all business dealings will be free from corruption, exploitation and oppression of the local people. May the rights, interests and welfare of the local communities always be prioritised.

6. Declare a Revival Over Bintulu

We pray and declare that Bintulu will experience revival, both spiritually and in the natural realm. Bintulu will never be the same again! It will no longer be known as a place where evil and wickedness thrive.
