Raise Believers Who Bear Fruit

21 September 2026

Raise Believers Who Bear Fruit
“[ESV] Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Matthew 13:8

1. Good Seed Requires Good Soil

Jesus used the parable of the sower to illustrate how people respond to the Word of God. The same seed was sown, but the results were different because the condition of the soil was different.

The good soil represents a heart that genuinely receives the Word of God. The Word is not merely heard, but received, embraced, and put into practice. When the Word takes root in a person's life, it will produce fruit.

In the context of Revive and Restore, we want to see believers who live by faith and bear fruit—fruit that is evident in their character, families, ministry, testimony, and communities.

2. From Being Restored to Bearing Fruit

God does not restore us only for ourselves. He restores us so that our lives can become a blessing to others.

A believer who produces a “hundredfold” is not necessarily someone who is famous or holds a high position. It is someone who allows the Word of God to transform their life, so that the transformation impacts those around them.

One life that is fully surrendered to God can influence a family. A family can influence a community. A community can bring transformation to a nation.

3. Raise a Fruitful Generation

Borneo needs believers who do not simply attend church, but live as witnesses of Christ wherever they are.

We need to raise believers who:

• are rooted in the Word of God;

• walk in holiness and repentance;

• bear the fruit of the Spirit;

• build God-fearing families;

• share the Good News with others;

• disciple the next generation; and

• use their lives for the glory of God.

Revive and Restore is not merely a call to return to God. It is a call to rise, be restored, and bear fruit in abundance for the Kingdom of God.

4. A Challenge

Let us ask ourselves:

“What kind of fruit is my life producing?”

God has sown the seed of His Word into our hearts. The question is not whether the seed is good—the seed is the Word of God. The question is:

Is our heart good soil?

May spiritual revival in Borneo produce transformed lives, restored families, growing churches, and a generation that rises to bring Christ to the world.

Rise. Be restored. Bear fruit.

And may God, through our lives, produce a hundredfold for His glory.

Prayer

Lord, awaken our hearts. Make us good soil for the seed of Your Word. Restore our lives and enable us to bear abundant fruit. Raise up a generation of believers in Borneo who live for Christ, disciple others, and bring transformation to families, communities, and nations. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
