Prayers for Telang Usan

1. Let us bring DUN N.77 Telang Usan before the Lord in prayer this week. Let us declare this Word of God over Telang Usan :

Jeremiah 33:6

“Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.”

Let us pray that all the villages (approximately 94 villages) under Telang Usan will experience prosperity, restoration, and abundant peace and security. Pray that every village head will be given the fear of the Lord, so that they may carry out their responsibilities with full integrity, wisdom, and accountability.

2. Let us pray that the churches in every village will play their part in carrying out the mission of evangelism, reaching even the remote areas and communities surrounding their respective villages, so that the Kingdom of God may be expanded. May Telang Usan be filled with the glory of God, especially as the majority of the people in this area identify as Christians.

Let us pray that they will not be Christians in name only, but that they will truly walk according to the truth of God's Word, so that their lives will become salt and light in the midst of those who do not yet know God. Let us declare the Word of God:

Psalm 33:12

“ Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. ”

3. Let us pray for restoration and repentance among the people of Telang Usan from every form of bondage to sin, including alcoholism, drug addiction, gambling, sexual immorality, and other destructive behaviours.

Let us pray and declare this Word of God over Telang Usan:

2 Chronicles 7:14

“ If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. ”

4. Let us pray for the victims of the fires that affected them approximately three years ago. Among the villages affected were Long Karangan, Long Bangan, Long Belok, Long Loyang, Long Senyai, Long Luteng, Long Watt, Ba Abang, and Long San.

Let us pray that, beyond receiving strength and comfort as they recover from the trauma of the fires, they will also receive special assistance from the relevant authorities to rebuild their homes. Let us pray that these villages will continue to progress and develop for the well-being and benefit of the communities.

5. Let us pray for the renewal of old mindsets and the transformation of thinking, so that the people will embrace a new mindset centred on the values of the Kingdom of God. One of the greatest obstacles to revival can be an old mindset (a stronghold in the mind) that hinders the work of God from taking place within a community.

Romans 12:2

“ Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. ”

6. Finally, let us pray that Telang Usan will experience an extraordinary visitation from the Lord. Let us declare that spiritual revival will take place throughout this area. May every village experience a powerful visitation of God. We pray that many servants of God will be specifically called and sent to serve and minister in this area. Let us pray against every plan and work of evil that seeks to deceive and lead believers astray.

As the Word of God says in Jeremiah 29:7:

“ Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper. ”

May Telang Usan become a place filled with peace, strong and healthy families, a generation rising up for God, and a vibrant and impactful Church standing as a light in the midst of a dark world.
