Prayers focus for Miri

1. Pray for the Miri City Council (Jeremiah 29:7)

• For wisdom and integrity in administration and the development of Miri city.

• Pray for YB Mayor Adam Yii to be granted health, protection, wisdom, and strength in carrying out his responsibilities as the Mayor of Miri city.

• Pray that all illegal activities in Miri will be eradicated for the purification and holiness of Miri City, while simultaneously restoring social issues in Miri.

2. Pray for the Unity of Churches in Miri (John 17:20-23)

• Pray that the churches in Miri (regardless of denomination) unite to win souls to expand the Kingdom of God.

• Pray that spirits of division and competition are broken in the name of the Lord Jesus among the churches in Miri.

• Church becomes a house of prayer and plays an active role in reaching out to souls to fulfill the Lord's Great Commission.

3. Pray for Family Institutions (Joshua 24:15 & Malachi 4:5-6)

• Pray that every family is granted special protection by God, kept far from all evil.

• Pray for the healing and restoration for families that currently experiencing brokenness and facing turmoil.

• Pray specifically for fathers to step up as spiritual leaders of their households to lead their families to Christ.

• Restoration of relationships between husbands and wives, as well as between children and parents.

• Let the glory of God shine through every household.
